Local food and drink producers
are coming under the spotlight more and more
as consumers become more concerned about, food
miles, carbon foot prints, animal welfare, pesticide
and fertiliser use, and GM foods.
The suppliers detailed below
produce local foods, made by local produce where
possible, some are organic, others have excellent
standards of care for their livestock, some
use what is naturally available in the Eden
area. But all taste great and all are available
for the discerning shopper locally. So if you
care about what you eat and where it comes from
then the supplies here should help to put your

from our Dexter cattle, the
smallest of the native breeds, extensively
reared, traditionally hung and
Venison Naturally from our organically reared
Red deer, succulent, tender and lean. Reared
naturally and grass-fed, our
animals mature slowly producing
healthy, tender, tasty meat. |
